
Air Fryer Cheesy Pesto Egg Bagels
Such an easy, impressive way to use bagels that takes no time to make and is even quicker to cook thanks to our new friend – the air fryer! Using up that little bit of pesto left in the bottom of the jar, these cheesy chewy egg bagels are so moorish you’ll be making them again in no time.

Ingredients
- 2 bagels, halved
- 4 Enriched eggs
- 4 tsp good quality pesto
- 80g mature cheddar, grated
- Mixed salad, to serve
Method
- Preheat the airfryer to 180°C.
- Cut a piece of greaseproof paper to fit in the base of the airfryer drawer.
- Spoon 2 tsp of pesto on either end of the paper and spread onto circles. Top with a bagel half, cut side down. Crack over the egg, so the yolk is in the hole of the bagel. Season the egg and scatter over half the cheese on each.
- Close the drawer and cook for 8-10 mins, until golden and the egg is cooked to your liking.
- Carefully lift the paper out of the drawer and remove to a board or plate. Repeat with the remaining bagel.
- Enjoy with seasonal green salad.
